the mullet

My pal Jonathan Boutelle calls this a "mullet" when a blog lists less info about its posts as they get older, but still lists many many posts. Valleywag has the same configuration. I love this name.

Hey, thanks for the shout-out!

Here's a write-up of the mullet concept, for those interested. It's definitely not rocket surgery ... in fact it's remarkable how little innovation has happened in blog design since the original "aha" idea of posts in reverse chronological order.
