Amelie bears a strong resemblance to Sal, star of
Blueberries for Sal", in both looks and berry preference.
It's also a favorite read, due to the hilarious mix up of Momma bear and baby bear with Mamma and Sal-- a mix up that never fails to alarm both Sal's and Amelie's Mamma.
She totally looks like Sal...definitely a favorite and must have for any children's library ;)
