I've been repriced: Blueprints for the Web is now 30 bucks at Amazon-- last week it was twenty. Hope most of you-all who plan to buy pre-ordered!
It's weird to have been suddenly repriced-- I wonder what happened. It's longer than I previously planned, so maybe that's it.
It's not you which have been repriced. It's the book. I sure do hope people still remember the difference.
You are quite right-- I'm still available for the cut-rate price of a cup of coffee or a glass of wine, depended on the time of day. My book is a bit more than that. it's also capable fo staying on topic for five minutes at a time, tho.
Look at it this way...someone at Amazon read a pre-print copy and said, "Gosh, this is really good stuff. I think this book is worth alot more and like valuable wine will fetch a higher asking price." Or something like that ;)...
What I want to know is why Lou's snuggling up with his cold to read this book and Amazon is still only letting you "pre-order" a book that will be published on "October 16th". Hmmm...I guess even the pros screw up sometime (and I was so hoping to be able to get Christina's and Jesse's book together in one of their package deals!
Blueprint is a steal at any price, but it seems like Amazon has had a few pricing snafu's in the past week or two as Jesse's book at 30% off was a dollar less than the price on the cover. The back of Christina's book lists $29.99 as the full price.
it is out, it is in print, and I have no idea what amazon's deal is.
barnes and noble seems to have it.
